Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Medical AI (the "Application"), provided by Pipexe OÜ ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately cease use of the Application and delete it from your devices.

2. Medical Disclaimer (Critical)

Medical AI IS AN INFORMATIONAL TOOL AND NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE.

No Professional Advice: The Application utilizes artificial intelligence to provide transcriptions, summaries, and OCR (Optical Character Recognition) of medical-related content. These outputs are for organizational and informational purposes only.

Verification Required: AI models can "hallucinate" or misinterpret complex medical terminology, handwriting, and audio. You are strictly required to verify all Application output against original records and with a licensed healthcare professional.

No Doctor-Patient Relationship: Use of Medical AI does not create a doctor-patient relationship. Medical AI is not intended for use in medical emergencies or for the diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any disease or clinical condition.

Assumption of Risk: You assume all risk for health-related decisions made based on Application data. Never delay seeking professional medical advice because of information processed by Medical AI.

3. Recording Consent & Legal Responsibility

The Application provides features that allow for the recording of audio. You are the sole "Data Controller" of the audio you record.

Jurisdictional Compliance: Laws regarding recording conversations (e.g., "One-Party" vs. "All-Party" consent) vary significantly by country and state. You represent and warrant that you will comply with all local privacy laws.

Mandatory Consent: You must obtain explicit permission from your healthcare provider and any other individuals present before initiating a recording. Pipexe OÜ disclaims all liability for unauthorized recordings.

4. Privacy & Data Security

Processing: Medical AI prioritizes privacy by utilizing on-device processing where possible. However, the security of the data resides primarily with the user.

User Responsibility: You are responsible for securing your device (via biometrics, passcodes, etc.) and any data you export from the Application.

Third-Party Services: If the Application utilizes cloud-based LLMs for advanced processing, such data is handled according to our Privacy Policy, ensuring encryption in transit and at rest.

5. Intellectual Property

All rights, titles, and interests in the Application, including its code, design, and branding, remain the exclusive property of Pipexe OÜ. You are granted a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application for personal or authorized professional use.

6. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

No Warranty: The Application is provided "As Is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Damages: To the maximum extent permitted by Estonian law (and the laws of your jurisdiction), Pipexe OÜ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, medical malpractice claims or data loss).

Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pipexe OÜ from any claims, legal fees, or damages resulting from your misuse of the Application or your violation of third-party privacy rights.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Tallinn, Estonia.
